Part 1 productivity suite

Hi all i have now read some of the book so i may as well put something on hear just to get the ball rolling dont you think.

A google account is your passport to the apps universe so that you can just sign in one place and go to all the google goodies so lets try it now.

when you have signed in in the one place you can add programs change your name or your password and so on and the best bit about it is that it is all free and when i say it is free it is free so you dont need money to start to use it so go on and have a go.

If you have got any google offerinjg - like gmail google docs you have got a google account so yoou will not have to do the sign up bit so there is no need to read on in this post as it is all about signing up but i will add a new post soon.

But you may have made it all the way to the 21st century without a google account but you do need a google account to use all the things in the google world this posting will tell you just how to do this so lets get right to to it.

Ps plz help out if you can if we all work as one you never no where we may get to do you.

This will only take a couple of minutes to do so if you like you can put a pizza in the microwave and you will be done by the time it is done for you and as you munching your way a slice or two all you need to do is pick programs you want and add some personal info to your account.

All you need to do to start is go to the google home page and in the right corner click on the link sign in and then you will have the google accounts sign in page and after you have opened you google account you will see this page every time but for new lets just click the right hand create an account now and you will be taken to a new page for you to sign up all you need to do is fill it in and then you have got a google account and you can start you use it see i told you it takes mins how is the pizza.

You can use any email account to start to use you google account but i would think you willl be changing at some time as i do all the post as a Gmail is better for google but that will be up to you.
Your google password will need to have at least eight characters long and you can have letters and numbers and symbols. To stop any typos it asks you to re-enter your password so that you dont end up locking yourself out but dont copy and paste it as yu will just copy you typo.

When you have filled it all in have a look over the page to make sure it all looks good then go for the I accept.  Then google will send you a email so that you can verifi all tho info you have told google about clik the link in the email and yu account is up and running.  If this doz not work then copy it in to you browers address bar  from there ypou need to click the link to go to you new google account.

If all that has worked then you do not need to read on if you have not got the email you will need to read as now something has stopped your email getting to you.

If you have not got your email from google after 15 mins you will have to go to plan B you need to have a look in your spam folder  as it may have gone there by mistake but google will tell you all this as you sign up.
You can tell you spam filter that google is cool so it will send it to your email and not your spam ask for a new email to be sent to you from the google page or start all over agen as there has been a mistake it signing up but every one doz that so that is about all i can tell you no signing up.
